We cover the Ottawa and surrounding area. If your event is out of town, depending on the location, there may be additional fees and a minimum hour booking. Contact us for more information or request a quote through our website!
At what type of events do you offer your services?
Children’s birthdays and parties, museums, festivals, fairs, camps, school and daycare & corporate events or just for fun. Please see our services page on our website.
How many children can you paint in an hour?
We paint on average 12 children an hour. Depending on the complexity of the paintings, we can paint more or less children. The goal for Smile Factory is to combine quality and speed.
Will paint rub off or stain clothes?
The paint used by Smile Factory dries very quickly, it can easily be removed with soap and water or a wipe.
Do you paint adults or only children?
Yes, we also paint at adult events. You are never too old to get your face painted! The oldest lady we painted was 94!
What can you paint?
We have a portfolio of samples that the children can choose from. It is also possible to choose a theme (fairies, super heroes). Simply advise us when you book your event. You can specify if the child likes a specific cartoon (spiderman, batman), we can paint almost anything. And if we are prepared to paint something specific, we will have these examples on hand.
How early can I book my event with you?

What type of payment do you accept and when do I pay for your services? Any deposit required?
We accept either cash, cheque or e-transfer. Payment is due on the day of your event.

Does SMILE FACTORY hire people to face paint?
It is possible to paint with us on a sub-contract basis. There are no full time or part time positions, it’s on demand basis and when you are available. We renumerate based on experience. This is great for you to gain extra income!
How many painters can be sent to my event?
Smile Factory can send as many painters as you need to your event at a time depending on availability and/or booking. We are proud to say that our team is composed of great individuals that contribute to SMILE FACTORY in a very unique way. They also demonstrate the core qualitites of Smile Factory; friendliness, calm, patient and quality oriented.
